I was born on June the 5th 1975 in The Netherlands. When I was 10 we moved to France where I spent my childhood and adolescence.
Untill now I have lived 10 years in The Netherlands, 10 years in the Midi-Pyrenees in France another 12 years in The Netherlands and since 10 years in Cascais Portugal. I do hope to spend many more years in this country that after all the moving around really feels like home!
And although I have the Dutch nationality I think I am a mixture of all kind of nationalities.

I have one lovely sister Diana who is always there for me and who supports me in every way from a distance. When she is in Portugal she also joins the Fut4women trainings and is really part of our “Fut4women family”.

Since I came back to The Netherlands in 1995, I studied at the Academy of Facility Management in The Hague.
After my studies I have worked in different companies and ended (for now) my carreer as a Real Estate Consultant for the Municipality of The Hague.

My work passion is real estate, facilitating people in the best possible way.

At the moment I am a stay at home mom. My daughter Elise (9 years) and my son Thomas (7 years) are both born in Lisbon.

Although I don’t have a “real” job, I make a lot of people happy with my personalised birthday cakes. Making these cakes and seeing my “clients” being so happy is very satisfying for me.

My hobbies are: cooking, baking, spending quality time with my family during weekend breaks and holidays.
I wish I had more time to read books.

4 years ago I met our trainer Hugo Leal as our children are in the mutual class at school. Hugo told me he was starting a project called Fut4All which would able all kind of people to excercise in a fun way. Unfortunately at that time only men sunscribed. So did my husband Koen. Fut4All is a huge success. Last year during International Women’s Day on the 8th of March Hugo organised a training for women.
And as both our children and my husband train in Estoril, I couldn’t stay behind.
On that evening of the 8th of March where present only spouses of Fut4All. We were so entusiastic that Hugo proposed to start Fut4Women.

So, from the very first day I was a member of Fut4Women. And it is still one of the best decisions I have made ever. Of course, made possible by Hugo but also with the help of my husband as both Fut4Women and Fut4All train the same evenings.

Fut4Women feels like a big family. I really feel accept the way I am with my weaknesses and strenghts. Although my ambitions are not to improve my football skills it is a great total workout for my body.
I hope to be part of the group for many more years.
